Serving on the School Board has ben an incredible honor, and I am proud of what we've been able to achieve together. I've worked hard to keep our schools strong, safe, and welcoming for every child.
But our work is not finished. I am committed to building on this progress with initiatives already underway, and new ideas to prepare our schools for the future.
Accomplishments in my first term

Responding to increasing student enrollment growth coming out of Covid, with over 13,000 students projected to enroll in the 2025 - 26 school year

Managed budgets in a fiscally responsible manner, enabling Wayzata to be in an elite group of school districts with a AAA Moody's bond rating

Helped pass a Technology Levy

I was fortunate to witness the implementation of the READ Act, which uses the science of reading to boost literacy, and educate students everywhere

Attendance Area redraw - approved boundary changes in the district to ease pressure on building space

Expansion at West Middle School to convert underutilized space into new music classrooms

Relocating the Transition program to the former District Administration building because of growth of the program

Extra serving line at Wayzata High School cafeteria to ensure more time for kids to eat

Approval of School Board Members visits to school buildings to promote transparency
