Hello neighbors.  My name is Milind Sohoni.  I have been a resident of Plymouth and Wayzata School District for the past 30 years.  My children attended K-12 in the school district.  I am passionate about giving back to the community which has provided my children the best education possible.

Having served on the Wayzata School Board for almost 4 years, I am seeking your support for re-election this November.  It has been an honor to serve our students, families, and community. I’ve worked hard to prioritize student achievement, responsible budgeting, and inclusive, transparent governance. From championing academic excellence to supporting safe and welcoming schools, I’ve always put our students first.

There is still important work ahead. That’s why I’m running for another term — to continue advocating for strong public education, to listen and lead with integrity, and to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.

I have led the School Board as Chair for the last 2 years, where I have focused on trust, inclusion, accountability and transparency for the school board as my platform. We have achieved substantial gains, and I look forward to building on this momentum.

I hope to earn your vote as I run for re-election to the Wayzata School Board. Thank you for your trust, and the opportunity to serve.  I am running to be an advocate, and ensure all students are supported with the conditions to learn and thrive.  It is because I want to make a difference in children's lives.  I am a data driven, results oriented scientist turned entrepreneur, who always believes that our best is yet to come.
